Ever wonder what that weird elvish writing says in the movies and want to learn it? Now you can.  As you see here, this is tolkien's very own elvish language.  It takes a few days of good practice to get it all down.  I suggest writing a short story or a paragraph or two.  Once you have used a letter, try to remember it the next time you use it.  I will try getting some more languages on this page soon.

What does the one ring say?

The one ring of power has elvish inscriptions, but they are not elvish words.  As we all know, it says the famous phrase: One ring to rule them all, one ring to bind them, one ring to bring them all and in the darkness to bind them.  In the black speech language, which it is written in, it says: Ash nazg durbatuluk, Ash nazg gimbatul, Ash nazg thrakatuluk, Agh burzum-ichi krimpatul.
